Vintage Furniture!

Have you ever thought about bringing some of your inside furniture outside and incorporating it in to your wedding?

You should!

There are so many pieces you may use that would totally change the look of your wedding.  This is especially true for a vintage wedding.   Why not incorporate vintage pieces to pull the theme together? I have listed below some of my favorite items you may have in your own home that would look fabulous at your wedding!

For the ceremony, look at using vintage chairs.  I love the idea that the chairs don’t match but have so much charm and character.  You won’t get this same feeling with standard wedding chairs.

Make sure to match the chairs to your theme.  For example, if you are having a 50’s theme look at using retro chairs!

Another piece of furniture to use at your wedding is a hutch or dresser!  An old hutch or dresser is an instant table perfect for so many uses.  It can become a great place for a place card or sign-in table.

Or use it to display drinks or your favorite food station!

Tables are another great thing to use at a wedding especially vintage farm tables!  They make beautiful guest tables at the reception and are even great for other tables at the wedding. If you are crafty you may even be able to make your own farm tables and distress them to look old!

Don’t forget about the couches!  Couches and chairs of all shapes and sizes are great to use for a cocktail area for the perfect sitting area.

A great couch can even be the perfect spot for the new Mr. and Mrs. to take their romantic photos after the wedding.

L-O-V-E!

If you love these looks and don’t have the right  furniture to use, then try and locate a vintage rentals company.  There are many emerging these days and you can rent everything from farm tables to antique china!
