Five Favorite Pre Wedding Workout Programs

It is no wonder that so many brides worry about losing weight and/or getting in shape before their wedding.  As a bride all eyes will be on you and you want to look your best.    I have listed my top five favorite workouts designed to accomplish your fitness goals.  Compare these workouts to see which program fits you and your personality best.

Pure Barre:

Pure Barre is a fitness program using small isometric movements at the ballet barre set to motivating music to lift your seat, tone your thighs, abs and burns fat in record time.  Pure Barre says you will see results in 10 classes and lose inches in weeks.   It is great on your joints since there is no jumping or bouncing involved and creates long, lean muscle without the bulk. It is a little pricey to go to the classes but if it is a little expensive for you try out the 8 DVD pack for $159.00 so you can do these same exercises at home!

Zumba

Zumba is a fun and effective cardio workout moving to Latin & International music with sculpting exercises designed to tone the entire body from top to bottom. Depending on how you exert yourself, you could burn between 400 to 1000 calories per class.  Zumba not only sheds unwanted pounds, but also building endurance and coordination.  Fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat.

Local Gym

Sometimes a great way to get in shape is join your local gym.  Especially in January prices are low and you can get some great deals.  Ask about free training services.  Some gyms will hook you up with a trainer for a few sessions to get you on a workout plan.  From there you can have a goal and plan in mind when you go to the gym instead of staying on the treadmill the whole time. Some gyms even offer classes for free that can switch up your workout during the week so you don’t get bored!

Shape Magazine

Many workout programs can be quite expensive as well as gyms and other classes can be intimidating to attend. If these are some of your concerns, try a workout at home.  Shape Magazine has great workouts online for free and they offer a Shape Bride App.  called Shape Bride for $3.99 that includes step by step exercises and meal plans.
