Wedding Dress Trends: Plunging Necklines

A popular wedding dress trend for 2013 and 2014 are dresses with straps and sleeves.  Along with this reemerging trend are plunging necklines! Designers are creating dresses with sleeves that are elegant and modest yet show a hint of skin with the neckline.

When looking for a dress with a plunging neckline make sure to consider how “plunging” you want your neckline to be.  If you are busty on top, a shorter V-neckline will look classier.

This Just In: Designer Zac Posen to Create Wedding Dresses for David’s Bridal

Are you wanting an affordable wedding gown that is also fashion forward?  That combination can be hard to find, but designer Zac Posen is creating a new line of wedding dresses at David’s Bridal named Truly Zac Posen.  This line of wedding and special occasion dresses are the perfect combination of style and affordability.

The Truly Zac Posen collection will debut online and in stores at David’s Bridal in February 2014 and will feature six ivory wedding gowns ranging in price from $850- $1350.  He will also feature five social occasion dresses ranging in price from $195-$225.  One of the best things about this collection is that it is available in sizes 0-14 off the rack and sizes 16-26 by special order so any size woman can wear this designer gown and feel confident and beautiful.

According to Glamour magazine Zac Posen describes his collection as chic yet sophisticated with great attention to detail.  He wants his brides to feel “embraced and empowered, joyous and confident.”
