There is a new trend lurking around.. Not for the faint of heart…

Trash your wedding dress.          Wait did you say trash your dress? Yes I did.

Mmmkay so let’s face it.. Your daughter is not really going to wear your wedding dress 25 years from now (ok well maybe she will..haha).  So another option of using that special dress (and getting to wear it ONE more time!) is have a whole seperate day for yet another photoshoot, starring you.

 The added bonus is, not only can you stop worrying about detracting from the actual wedding day, but you can have actually have fun (no chin-down-tilt-your-face-to-the-left-fingers-together-crap, today)!

Go somewhere different~ If you like cemetaries, go run around that; or if beaches or lakes or more your thing, get an awesome shoot with you floating in the water:) Or do a photoshoot at your first date, whether its a  restaurant, a drive in movie theater, or whatever…. Think about this: How cute would pictures of you and your new hubby eating at your favorite sushi restaurant be?? Umm people might look but dang, it would be cute!

Ladies, like everything else, tradition no longer holds strong for typical weddings…..

Hence, the beautiful (colorful) heel!

Color is a great way to express what kind of bride you are.  In today’s weddings, adding color in places other than the reception/bridesmaid dresses is no longer  a faux-pas. It is the perfect way to show who you are in everyday life, as well as, show a little personality in a sea of  wedding season;)

If you like, use the colors from your bridesmaid dresses/wedding colors..or if you are feeling a little frisky, shake it up and use a color complementary to your colors –> Wedding colors: blue and white–> wear yellow shoes!

And the awesome thing is, you can actually wear them again! And think how snappy you will be after you slip on your old wedding shoes:) 

Of course, if you are the more traditional bride, white shoes are perfectly perfect as well (and Mom won’t have a heart attack when you pull out Hot pink Leopard shoes with your wedding dress).

This awesome fashion trend is becoming an even awesome-r wedding theme.. 

I’m even thinking about doing it myself 😉  I mean..how cute would sailor-pinup bridesmaid be???
