Do you want to make your wedding unique? One way to leave a lasting impression on your guests is with your reception food. Having fun and creative food stations is a great way to make your wedding stand out. When deciding on a food station try to think outside of the box. Think about your favorite foods and how you can create a station that will be interactive and fun for your guests. Here are some of our favorite food stations that you won’t see at every wedding!
One of my favorite food stations for a southern wedding is a grits bar! Have guests add their favorite toppings like bacon, peppers, onions and cheese.
Another creative food bar for a southern wedding is a biscuit bar. Include assorted jams, jellies, and butters. Who doesn’t love warm biscuits? Yum!
For a fun food bar, try a taco bar filled with different meats, cheeses and assorted toppings.
If you want something lighter than tacos try a nacho bar!
A popcorn bar stocked with different types of popcorn makes a great station and can even double as a favor for guests. Include candies, peanuts and chocolates to eat with the popcorn for a perfect treat!
For a Fall or Winter wedding a chili bar the perfect comfort food on a chilly wedding day.
If you love seafood, try a clam bake bar!
For an early afternoon or brunch wedding why not serve omelets?
For a creative dessert, try a milkshake bar with assorted flavors and toppings!

According to the Huffington Post, the liquor of the year for weddings is Tequila! There are so many ways to incorporate tequila in to your wedding and one of the easiest ways is to have tequila in your signature drink. A signature drink is usually passed during the cocktail hour and gives guests a glimpse in to the reception. What shows your wedding reception will be a fun party more than tequila?!
Of course the most popular drink with tequila is a margarita (which guests will love) but if you want a twist on the traditional margarita try looking at some of these great nontraditional tequila recipes by WedShare.
Some of my favorite drinks for Spring are this watermelon tequila agua fresca or this spicy cucumber margarita!
Another way to give guests a tequila inspired drink is to have a tequila bar with assorted tequilas, salts and don’t forget the limes!
For a unique way to have tequila at your wedding, consider a gourmet jello tequila shot!
And why not pass out your tequila signature drinks along with a tequila inspired appetizer? I love this idea of grabbing a drink and an hors d’oeurvres at the same time!
You can even give tequila as your wedding favor! How cute are these customized labels?
We hop you enjoy these tequila inspired ideas for your wedding!
Brides everywhere are having signature drinks at their wedding!! Signature drinks add a level of personality to your event and are always a favorite among guests. In some cases, it is a great way to save money on alcohol expenses. For example, you can decide to only serve a signature drink and non-alcoholic beverages during the cocktail hour to extend your bar time for the reception. I love signature drinks that are unique and Fall is a great time to think outside the box and choose a Fall Signature Drink that fits the weather and not the color scheme. I have listed below some of my favorite Fall Signature Drinks…
Apple cider is always a favorite for Fall. Garnished with a cinnamon stick it makes the perfect signature drink for a Fall wedding.
Another favorite is Hot Chocolate. Who doesn’t love a cup of hot chocolate on a chilly day? You can even have a hot chocolate station where guests can put their favorite toppings like whipped cream, marshmallows and chocolate shavings.
If you want a twist to the traditional Fall favorites try a mulled cranberry cider. This drink is made with cranberry and orange juice, allspice berries, ginger, and port wine. Check out the recipe here.
Cocktails like sangria are always a favorite among men and women and an apple sangria is a perfect Fall signature drink. This signature drink is made with apples, cinnamon, sugar, ginger, red wine and triple sec.
One of my favorites is a pumpkin eggnog martini! This drink is made with almond milk, dark rum, pumpkin puree, egg whites, pumpkin pie spice and ground nutmeg. Yummy!
Now the test is to try these signature drinks and let me know which one is your favorite!! Do you like the classic hot chocolate and apple cider or are these spiced up recipes your new favorite Fall cocktail?
