On September 28, 2012 Joseph and Jessica invited one hundred of their closest friends and family to witness their beautiful ceremony and reception at Glendalough Manor. The couple met at Mercer University in Macon, GA in American Government, a class Jessica says she didn’t need to take for a nursing degree but she is thankful took it!
Since we had so many amazing pictures from Brandelyn Photography we had a hard time narrowing down which pictures to use. Since I couldn’t quite choose, I decided to split this wedding in to two parts so you could catch every detail of this beautiful wedding!
Jessica chose a stunning gown by Casablanca which had a sweetheart neckline and crystal embellishments at the waist. To me, the bottom of the dress was the most unique with the fabric sewn to look like hundreds of roses. It gave such a soft and romantic feeling to the dress.
I love that Jessica chose her “something blue” as her wedding shoes! It matched perfectly with the blue of the bridesmaids dresses.
She accented her gown with pearls around her neck, crystal and pearl teardrop earrings and a delicate headband of crystals in her hair. The bridesmaids wore vibrant tea length blue dresses with pearl earrings.
Ciao Bella Weddings helped with the floral design and did an incredible job helping Jessica’s vision come to life. The bride carried a bouquet of white and blue hydrangea, yellow roses and calla lilies, blue delphinium and blue irises all tied in a white satin ribbon. The bridesmaids carried bouquets of white hydrangea, yellow roses and yellow ranunculus tied with a yellow satin ribbon.
For the groom, Joseph, he wore his military dress blue uniform. His groomsmen wore traditional black suits with yellow ties and a calla lily boutonniere with a sprig of blue delphinium.
The bride and groom decided on a “First Look” before the ceremony. This is where the bride and groom see each other for the first time without anyone else around. It gives them time to talk and ease nerves as well as always extra time for pictures. Joseph waited in the gardens while Jessica came up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder. The couple took a few emotional minutes by themselves. The incredibly talented photographers at Brandelyn Photography do an awesome job of capturing the moment while giving the bride and groom the space they need.
