A great and easy way to dress up a ceremony or reception space is to add paper lanterns. There are so many different shapes, sizes and colors that can be used to add a little extra drama. Cluster them together over the reception guest tables or over a dance floor for added decor.

For a different look, choose lanterns in unusual shapes and sizes.

I especially like patterned lanterns with stripes, flowers or geometric designs.

Some paper lanterns also have texture to add another layer of dimension.  Or hang traditional round lanterns with garland made of flowers or branches for a whimsical look.

Large over sized lanterns look beautiful for pictures in the evening.  Plus you don’t have to buy or hang as many lanterns to get the same dramatic look.

Over sized lanterns are also unique and interesting decor for an open lawn.  What do you think about this?
