Can you believe that wedding gloves are back on trend this year? They aren’t just for princesses anymore! These gloves are the perfect accessory to add a little extra drama to your wedding attire.
Vintage gloves from the 50’s and 60’s add sweetness and femininity to a wedding look.
Wearing black wedding gloves or dark colored gloves are a great way to add a touch of color.
A modern way to wear gloves is with leather ones. Many gloves you find are white but for a modern take try brown or black leather gloves.
For a classic look wear lace gloves!
It’s not just for brides, gloves also look great on bridesmaids!
What do you think about gloves on your wedding day?
Leather? For weddings? That’s exactly what I thought when I heard that leather would be the hottest trend for weddings in 2013! On a recent “business trip” in Vegas we attended a bridal conference where The Wedding Guys informed us to get ready for wedding leather! After much hesitation I started to think of all the ways leather could be incorporated in to a wedding. It didn’t take long to think of a few great ways to use leather in a chic and fabulous way like these beautiful invitations.
I wanted to share with you some of the ways that even the most conservative of brides can incorporate the leather wedding trend!
One of my favorite ways to use leather in 2013 is with a belt! Try a brown leather belt around your wedding dress to totally change your look. If you are a more traditional bride, you can use a belt after the ceremony to change from a more formal look to a relaxed look.
A leather belt is also a great accesory for your bridesmaid dresses! Look how cute these skinny leather belts are!
Another great way to use leather is to wear leather shoes! The bride and groom are not the only ones that can wear leather shoes. For a casual, southern wedding cowboy boots are always a cute idea for anyone in the bridal party!

Vintage gloves are another classy and beautiful way to use leather!
If you decide you aren’t a bride that wears leather, look at a leather favor! Leather luggage tags are perfect for a vintage wedding.
