Wedding Colors 2013: It’s “Mint” to Be

The color mint is sweeping the bridal scene for 2013! With the popularity of vintage fashion, mint has become a favorite among designers and brides. One of the reasons I love the color mint is that it coordinates perfectly with so many colors. You can pair mint with a soft or bold color to give a completely different look. It is a strong enough color to be used on its own, but not overpowering that you can’t use it with other bold colors.

One way to use mint is to use the color mint alone giving off a modern yet vintage look.

A great coordinating color for mint is peach especially if you enjoy a vintage wedding.

If you want to kick it up a notch try using coral instead of peach or a combination of both colors.

Another great color combination is mint and pink with touches of gold.

You can even add a splash of turquoise to deepen the color palette.

For a Spring or Summer wedding you can pair mint with yellow. This gives off a cheery, vibrant look and feel.

Winter is upon us, and one of my favorite color combinations is using mint and red. It is a beautiful, unique color palette for a Winter Wedding.
