Wedding Colors 2013: It’s “Mint” to Be

The color mint is sweeping the bridal scene for 2013! With the popularity of vintage fashion, mint has become a favorite among designers and brides. One of the reasons I love the color mint is that it coordinates perfectly with so many colors. You can pair mint with a soft or bold color to give a completely different look. It is a strong enough color to be used on its own, but not overpowering that you can’t use it with other bold colors.

One way to use mint is to use the color mint alone giving off a modern yet vintage look.

A great coordinating color for mint is peach especially if you enjoy a vintage wedding.

If you want to kick it up a notch try using coral instead of peach or a combination of both colors.

Another great color combination is mint and pink with touches of gold.

You can even add a splash of turquoise to deepen the color palette.

For a Spring or Summer wedding you can pair mint with yellow. This gives off a cheery, vibrant look and feel.

Winter is upon us, and one of my favorite color combinations is using mint and red. It is a beautiful, unique color palette for a Winter Wedding.

Peach and Mint Wedding Colors

Taking a page right out of the 1960’s, the soft colors of mint and peach go perfectly together for a retro inspired wedding.  I like this wedding color combination best for a vintage themed wedding. It may even go well for a southern themed wedding, especially for a wedding in Georgia (peaches and all :)) Peach and mint make for such a romantic color combination. If you like this color combination take a look at some of these inspiration photographs.

You can decide which color you want to be used more at the wedding….peach or mint.  Depending on the color you choose it will change the entire look of the wedding.

For a vintage wedding, use mint colored linens and peach flowers.

Look how awesome this mint cake looks?

I think the mint or the peach color bridesmaid dresses look beautiful. Especially when you pair it with the coordinating color for the accessories.

What do you think about this mint and peach wedding color combination?
