Unique Ideas For An Outdoor Summer Ceremony

We are always on the lookout for unique ideas for your wedding!  Planning an outdoor ceremony can be a little more difficult to plan, but your possibilities to be creative are endless.  Many churches and inside ceremony locations have restrictions on decor, but outside there are a lot less rules.  Check out some of our favorite outdoor ceremony ideas!

Instead of using chairs for guests to sit on use sheets or quilts.  This creates a more casual environment for guests.  Add baskets, wooden crates, pillows, candles and flowers for a romantic environment.  As an added tip make sure guests know to dress casual for your wedding!

If you are concerned with the heat keep them cool by offering hats, umbrellas, or fans!

You can also offer popsicles to guests as they enter the ceremony.  Or have a fun lemonade stand for guests to sip on during the ceremony!

I always cry at weddings so I love the idea of offering handkerchiefs to guests!

My favorite idea for an outdoor wedding is to have kites for guests to enjoy after the ceremony!

A beautiful wedding took place this past summer we couldn’t wait to share with you.  Crystal and Aston were married in the gardens of Glendalough Manor with one hundred and seventy of their closest friends and family.

Crystal and her bridesmaids arrived to get ready in the spacious bridal suite that is provided for all brides at Glendalough Manor.

The bride chose a gorgeous strapless beaded ball gown with side ruching at the waistline. She accented her wedding gown with a crystal tiara and veil.  For her bridesmaids Crystal chose floor length, pool blue dresses and all of her girls wore crystal necklaces to match the brides tiara. The bridesmaids carried bouquets in coral and ivory flowers to match the wedding colors.

The groom and his groomsmen chose champagne colored tuxedos worn with a tie and pocket square.

Ciao Bella Weddings did an incredible job on the flowers and design of the ceremony and reception spaces.  A white aisle runner was laid down at the ceremony site and coral lanterns with pool blue ribbon were hung under the arbor where the guests are seated.  Crystal decorated the pergola with white draping and a centerpiece in the center with gorgeous coral flowers.

After the ceremony the guests were invited to the cocktail hour and reception in the Avondale Ballroom. Crystal choose pool blue sashes on the chairs with coral charger plates and ivory napkins for the guest tables. Crystal and Aston chose to sit at a romantic sweetheart table during the reception. The cake was ivory with a bow and crystal accent.

Crystal changed in to another beautiful gown during the reception to wow her guests one more time.  The new husband and wife left to guests holding sparklers.
