Wedding Trend: Gourmet Jello Shots?

Weddings have changed over the last few years with brides and grooms bringing more personality and creativity to their wedding.  Couples are finding unique ways to ensure their guests have a good time and what better way to do that than to have Jello Shots!!

At first, I was very skeptical about this idea. Jello shots I have seen in the past did not resemble anything I would want for a wedding.  As you can see, these jello shots look nothing like the ones of old.  Say goodbye to the cheap plastic cups and welcome a whole new world of jello shots with lots of presentation!  Jello Shots are using fancy molds to create unique shapes and are served in glass shot glasses, on small serving dishes and even sticks are being used (think cake pop)!

They are not only amazing to look at but a great addition to any bar.  I love the idea of having these passed during your cocktail hour instead of a signature drink.  I think guests would love the creativity of the jello shots and they would also taste great!  Plus they can come in almost any color to match the wedding and can be made to taste just like some of your favorite drinks!

Here is a cosmopolitan Jello Shot…Yum!

What do you think about these Gourmet Jello Shots?  Would you serve them at your wedding?

Signature Drinks

Signature drinks are one of the best ways to make your wedding unique!   Whether you are having an alcoholic bar or non-alcoholic bar…serving one of your favorite drinks or even a drink in your wedding colors is a fun way to treat your guests.  I have listed below some of my favorite drink ideas.  With many of these drinks you can leave out the alcohol and still serve a great non-alcoholic beverage for your wedding.  I love the idea of taking one of these drinks and naming it something special (try smashing up your name with your fiancés last name and see what you get)!

If you are having an outside wedding, a cute idea is to have a signature drink served before the ceremony.  Your guests can sip on a refreshing drink handpicked by you.  If you decide to do this, I would suggest having a non-alcoholic drink so that all of your guests can enjoy during the ceremony and have an alcoholic drink served after the ceremony!
