Happy Holidays! Well, you have almost made it through the holiday season and since you have been engaged, you have been a busy beaver! Engagement parties, picking your venue, deciding on a wedding dress…but the last critical step after getting engaged still awaits you. Oh the dreaded wedding guest list! It is now time to sit down with your fiance and families and decide on who you want to attend your wedding. This is one of the most important steps in planning your wedding because your wedding guest list will decide many important factors; food and beverage costs, how many centerpieces you will need, how many invitations, favors, ect…
To keep you sane during this process, we have some key tips for you to remember! Just breathe and you will get through it…and just think, once you are done, the hardest part is out of the way!

Weather you are having a large or small wedding, it is still important to narrow down your guests list early!

It may be helpful for the initial guest list if you make an A, B and C list. People on the A list you will send save the dates to. People on the B list will definitely be sent an invitation 8 weeks out. People on the C list may be added to the invitation list and sent and invite no later than 6 weeks out.

Now it is time to create and send out those save the dates!! Be sure to send out save the dates at least 9 months out from the wedding date or they will not be worth sending. The idea of the save the date is to make sure your closest family and friends make arrangements in their schedule to be at your special day. Oh what fun!
