Caitlin and Forrest October 19, 2013!

It was a beautiful, slightly overcast October day at Glendalough Manor.  Caitlin and Forrest were set to wed in our breathtaking garden at four o’clock p.m.  Nine months of planning had finally come to an end and all the details were about to come to life!

Thank you to the lovely Katie Carter with Blackbird Photography for allowing us to share with you the day that Caitlin and Forrest became husband and wife!  www.blackbirdphotography.com

Her dress was BEYOND beautiful.  It was like no other that I have seen before with the gorgeous rose straps, tight fitting sweetheart neckline and the perfectly simple skirt that flowed out slightly.

Ciao Bella Florist outdid herself with these arrangements.  White dahlias, red gerbera daisies are just some of the few blooms that make these centerpieces the perfect mix of elegant and rustic.

A great way to incorporate our hurricane globes that we offer complimentary to our brides.  Ciao Bella dressed it up with a beautiful, rustic floral wreath that ties in with the rest of the wedding details.  The table number is complimentary from Glendalough as well!

Real Wedding: Amanda and Vincent October 5, 2013

It was a beautiful fall day at Glendalough Manor on October 5, 2013 for Amanda and Vincent’s wedding day!  Although still a bit hot, at least it was not raining or cloudy and that is a good thing for Georgia lately!  Amanda and Vincent were wed in our beautiful gardens at four o’clock in the afternoon followed by their reception in the Avondale Ballroom.  Amanda chose a beautiful color scheme of deep purple accented by various shades of pinks and lime green.  The bride and groom decided to see each other prior to the ceremony which you will see depicted in their emotional “first look” pictures.  This is becoming a growing trend holding strong in the wedding industry; especially in the fall months when couples are trying to chase the sunlight.  It is a great way to sneak in a little extra time with your spouse to be as the wedding day is full of activities and mingling leaving little time to be with one another.

We hope you enjoy these beautiful pictures taken at Glendalough Manor by the wonderful Katie with Blackbird Photography!  We love Katie and she has been a treasured vendor here at Glendalough for the past year!

Pennies for good luck and stunning purple shoes with beautiful embellishments!

Amanda carried a beautiful hand-tied bouquet of pink garden roses, purple lisianthus, mini purple calla lilies, purple hydrangea, hot pink freesia and green hypericum berries!

The groom calmly awaits his bride!  The first look is always so beautiful.

With their ray of love, they embark into this new chapter in their journey together as husband and wife!

Congratulations Amanda and Viny from the Glendalough Family!

Thank you again to the lovely Katie with Blackbird Photography for the photos!

Glendalough Manor Real Wedding: Sydney and Blake

I am so excited to share this real wedding at Glendalough Manor with you!! The amazing photographers from Unplugged Photography did an incredible job of capturing the wedding day of Sydney and Blake on May 3, 2013.  I had such a hard time choosing which pictures to feature since so many of them were absolutely gorgeous! Hope you enjoy this beautiful wedding story of Blake and Sydney!

The bride wore a beautiful lace empire waist wedding gown with a sweetheart neckline designed by Essence of Australia.

Sydney and Blake decided to have a “first look” and get a private moment in the gardens at Glendalough Manor before the ceremony.  It was an emotional and beautiful moment captured David Shirk of Unplugged Photography.

The ceremony took place in the gardens where the aisle was lined with shepherd hooks with jars of coordinating flowers.  Under the pergola were two large arrangements on either side of the couple on large columns.  Stunning!

The reception was held in the Wicklow Ballroom at Glendalough Manor.  The chairs were tied in a soft shade of lavender accented with a lavender napkin.  A long head table was set in the center of the room with all of the guest tables surrounding them. Sydney and Blake had a candy buffet as the wedding favor for the guests to enjoy.  The cake was made by Cutie Pies and Cakery was topped with an adorable cake topper with the words “We Do”.
