Hand Painted Wedding Shoes

What girl doesn’t love shoes?  Finding a wedding shoe is never an easy task and my new favorite find is hand painted wedding shoes!  The main designer of these works of art is Figgie Shoes.  These are couture hand painted shoes created just for you.  You can send the designer, Deborah, all of your wedding details like date, names, as well as hobbies and wedding colors to create a one of a kind wedding shoe! You can also choose the type of shoe like flats, wedges or heels and even choose your heel height so they are the perfect match for you and your wedding!

These shoes are a little expensive but are truly a keepsake for a lifetime!  I also love the idea of wearing them every wedding anniversary to celebrate your life together!

I love these shoes by Figgie that have the wedding vows written on them.  How sweet!

If these shoes are a little too expensive for you try creating your own.  Or you can find some of these creations on sites like Etsy that can be more affordable but may not have the detail of a Figgie shoe.

Do you love these hand painted wedding shoes as much as we do?

Wedding Inspiration: Chandeliers

An easy way to transform a space is with a beautiful chandelier!  Chandeliers add a hint of elegance and opulence to any event, especially weddings.  Their is a chandelier perfect for every theme and here are some of our favorite ones and ways to use them at your wedding!

The most popular type of chandelier is made out of crystals.  These classic and beautiful chandeliers will never go out of style.  They are beautiful for ceremonies and receptions adding a touch of romance.

If you love crystal chandeliers look at getting smaller ones and cluster them together to create a dramatic modern look.

For an ultra modern look, try a colored chandelier like the black one below!

For rustic events, choose a chandelier that fits the theme like this antler chandelier.

If you are crafty, you can even make your own chandelier out of mason jars!

One of my favorite chandeliers is made out of flowers!  Although this type of chandelier can be very expensive it is amazingly beautiful!

If you don’t have a budget for a chandelier made out of flowers, try adorning a chandelier with a few flowers to give a similar look.

Five Fun Photos to Take with Your Bridesmaids

I think most of us can agree that photography is very important on your wedding day.  You want pictures you can look back on for years to come and although you need the posed photographs it is always fun to think of some creative shots to take.  The majority of your wedding day will be spent with your bridesmaids and you want to make sure your photographs capture not only your faces but your personalities!  Here are five fun pictures that we think every bride should have of her and her maids.

Most of your wedding day will consist of you and your girls getting ready and I love capturing the casual moments before the ceremony begins.  How cute is this photo with all of the girls laying down in a circle and capturing a closeup of their faces?

You can even propose a toast with all of your girls while you are getting ready and capture the moment.  I love how they are all wearing the same thing!

My favorite idea for pictures is to have your bridesmaids take a picture with how they first met you! LOVE this!

Don’t forget about the details!  Make sure you get a picture of your fabulous shoes or all of your hair!

Use props! Be silly and have fun with your girls to lighten the mood before the ceremony.  Consider balloons, parasols, photo booth props, etc to take pictures with.
